For Lizzo’s SNL takeover a-morir worked closely with the Fabletics team to customize Yitty bodysuits for Lizzo, her dancers, and her band for her first TV performance of “It’s About Time”. We also worked closely with stylist Jason Rembert to create a custom fuchsia crystal corset for her performance of “Special” and customized additional garments for her closing credits look. Crystal Bodysuits

*a-morir* hand embellished Lizzo’s bodysuit in a 4 crystal light yellow to dark green gradient in a sillhouette shape with purple gradient crystal accents on the neck. Her backup talent’s purple bodysuits were crystalized in yellow and green to match. Her crysatlized shoes and backup dancer corsets were painted in studio to color match all outfits.

Using Preciosa crystals in Jonquil, Limesicle, Ernite, and Emerald we created a coke bottle silhouette gradient on this outfit, seamlessly blending the bodysuit into the corset, back into the bodysuit and into her shoes, that we colormatched in studio. While working on powermesh it’s important to keep meticulous uniformity to maintian even stretch in all directions, so we meticulously placed each crystal 1/4’’ apart on all sides. To tie in the purple from her backup talent the neckline was done in a 4 color puple crystal gradientl

Lizzo’s backup talent had green crystal gradient accents on the front and back of their necklines, and unseen details on their ankles. We custom colormatched the corsets in studio as well. Scroll down for more detailed images of the work. Click to enlarge and enjoy!
